Preparations for the ARC+ are in full swing. Sunday we’ll start to Cape Verde and then across the Atlantic to the Caribbean and St. Lucia.
Here we are together:
We stay at the family jetty, there are always a few kiddies on the way:
Mathias is building shelves again:
and, like father like daughter, our daughter in Hamburg is similarly busy:
Now a new episode of „Dr. Sheldon Cooper: Fun with Flags“:
We’re all supposed to decorate the ship. But you don’t just do that somehow. It’s called „dress the ship“ and the order of the flags is exactly pre-set. On the one hand this should prevent you from accidentally spelling a word and on the other hand the colors should be pleasantly contrasting. The ARC participants were asked to use the British order, in the USA there is another.
For two days there were Seminars to prepare for the crossing.
On Friday the farewell party
But the preparations continue:
During the crossing you can watch the event ARC+ via the Worldcruising.com website (Fleet Viewer) or via the YB Tracking app and always see where we are sailing.
Next time we’ll report from the other side of the Atlantic!
